Terms & conditions

  • You must hold a valid provisional driving licence or full driving licence.

  • You must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you are, you will be refused the lesson booked and will still be charged for the lesson. 

  • We operate a 48 hours cancellation policy. If a lesson that has been booked and needs cancelled then at least 48 hours notice must be given by phone or text or the lesson will still be charged.

  • We may be unable to avoid cancelling at short notice due to vehicle technical problems or bad weather. If this was to happen, your lesson fee will be carried over to the following lesson. 

  • Intensive courses require a non-refundable £200.00 deposit after the assessment has been completed to provisionally book dates/ times agreed. It's provisionally booked until the full course fee is received.

  • Payments for intensive courses must be fully paid at least 4 weeks before the course start date. If the course is sooner then the full payment will need to be paid upfront after the assessment. 

  • Intensive courses are non-refundable if cancelled less than 4 weeks before the start date of the course. A refund will only be given if your instructor fails to meet the days and times agreed on the assessment day. 

  • You will not be allowed to sit a practical driving test until your instructor feels that you have reached test standard and are capable of passing your driving test. This should be avoided by working together on the lead up to the practical driving test and doing extra practice if needed. 

  • When booking lessons with Auto's Best in the West, you are committing to a weekly driving lesson slot. We will give you the same commitment in return.

  • Lesson payments are by bank transfer. Once you book any lesson, you then have 24 hours to pay for the lesson to secure it in the diary. If it's not paid within 24 hours, we will send you a reminder text. If it still hasn't been paid then we can't guarantee your lesson slot. This lesson slot would then be offered to someone else which we don't want to do.
